A Snow Rail System is the preferred snow retention product in heavy snow load areas. A Snow Rail System can keep snow from falling off the rooftop and onto anything or any one below. S-5! has recently announced the arrival of the DualGard two pipe snow rail system. Features of the DualGard include:

2 Pipe Snow Rail System
Made out of Aluminum
Requires 2 mini S-5! clamps per DualGard bracket
Fulfills snow retention spec requirements called out by architects
Adds a unique aesthetics to the roof as it can be color matched to the roof color
Will not void roof warranty
Tested more than any other snow rail system to keep rooftop snow loads from sliding off the roof
Use it on almost any type of metal roof.

I bought 2 sections of this product to install on a standing seam metal roof. The service that I received from Matt at Roof Things was incredible. He helped me spec-out a system that would meet my needs. It shipped from Montana to Maine for free which in itself was amazing. It arrived in perfect condition. After learning how it all fits together from the instructions and some online videos I was able to assemble and install 2 sections of Dual Guard myself. It feels very sturdy and I'm hopeful that it will do what's intended. This Winter will be the real test.
