bigger wheels for metal roofs
I have not had the need to use these yet but they seem to be sturdy and would be easy to put on in place of the smaller wheels. One thing to remember about metal roofs some have sharp ends all along the edge where the roof terminates and this can tear the vinyl shute when pushing the rake up the roof or when a block of snow comes sliding down. Mine are not bad so I have not had a problem yet. Using the larger wheels won't help with that issue only helps with keeping the rake up over the ridges running up the roof evey 6 inches or so. I have a friend who wanted to borrow mine but when I saw his roof the edges where the roof terminates were so jagged that I refused to allow him to use it. So, just look at your roof before attempting to use one of these with the shute.
