Clamp-on snow rail is the best type of snow rail in the industries. In order to keep standing seam metal roof warranties intact, roof manufacture have a no penetration rule. Many snow rail systems require roof penetration, but Sno Shield's clamp-on snow rail does not. Using a combination of nuts bolts and washers it will squeeze the roof seam, but it will not penetrate it. No other snow guard company has a product that uses this method of attachment. Clamp-to-seam snow rail is important when the roofs integrity needs to be maintained.
Clamp-on snow rail will attach to many types of standing seam metal roofs and you can purchase it one of two ways: a single rail clamp-on snow rail system or a double rail snow fence system.
