Clamp-on snow rail is the best type of snow rail in the industries. In order to keep standing seam metal roof warranties intact, roof manufacture have a no penetration rule. Many snow rail systems require roof penetration, but Sno Shield's clamp-on snow rail does not. Using a combination of nuts bolts and washers it will squeeze the roof seam, but it will not penetrate it. No other snow guard company has a product that uses this method of attachment. Clamp-to-seam snow rail is important when the roofs integrity needs to be maintained.

Clamp-on snow rail will attach to many types of standing seam metal roofs and you can purchase it one of two ways: a single rail clamp-on snow rail system or a double rail snow fence system.

In cases where this clamp will not work for your roof seam please call for other clamp-on snow rail options that are available but not yet posted to the Roof Things site.

The clamp-on single rail snow fence comes with the following:
  • 1 - 9' Pipe
  • 4 - clamps
  • 2 - End Caps
  • 2 - Collars
  • 8 - Nuts, Bolts and Washers

The clamp-on double rail snow fence comes with the following:
  • 2 - 9' Pipe
  • 4 - clamps
  • 4 - End Caps
  • 4 - Collars
  • 8 - Nuts, Bolts and Washers

Wonderful! Went up easy, thank goodness, as we are committed DIY'ers and had no idea going in what to do. The folks at Roof Things was most helpful in their up front advice. The color was perfect as represented and matches our roof exactly. I love the rail look on our log cabin. Stands out from the usual snow guard installation and much quicker to put up. Now the question is, do we have enough clamps to hold back the snow? We took the clamps included in the kit with one extra for a long run. We did not put clamps on every 18-inch seam in order to keep down expense since we did not know if we could actually make this work. If not, we order more! Thanks, Roof Things.
